Hey English Speaker!
We are glad you are here and interested in the P.R.I.M. LARP Universe.
Unfortunately we are currently unable to translate the whole page into English, but we will provide you with the most important info.
Our sub-pages are written in an easy form of German. The automatic „google translate“ mode might work very well!
If you are completely new to the world of P.R.I.M., we recommend you to read the following page and after that, the core rulebook. You find it here.
What kind of world is P.R.I.M.?
P.R.I.M. is an immersive, closed-campaign LARP set in a near-future dystopia after a devastating alien invasion. Humanity is on the brink of extinction, with only a few resistance cells still fighting for survival. Players experience a world of desperation, community, and the question of what it means to stay human in extreme conditions.

Setting and Atmosphere
At the heart of the story is the resistance base Echo Base in Mahlwinkel, part of the Berlin resistance zone. Here, players not only face an overwhelming enemy but also daily survival struggles: resource shortages, social tensions, and moral dilemmas. The game emphasizes realistic, atmospheric world building – from carefully chosen props and gear to the serious roleplay of in-game conflict.
Style of Gameplay
P.R.I.M. follows the DKWDDK (which is short for the German phrase ‘Du Kannst, Was Du Darstellen Kannst’. Translating to English it comes out as ‘You Can Do, What You Can Represent’) requiring authentic and believable roleplay. Combat is represented using airsoft weapons (limited to 0.5 joules), but within the context of a civilian resistance—not a military simulation.

Accommodation and Facilities
Players can sleep entirely in-character (in old military buildings) or opt for an out-of-character tent area. Dixi toilets and shower trailers are provided, and utility water (e.g., for cleaning) is available. The event is self-catered, with a bar offering drinks and snacks. Cooking is allowed both in-character and out-of-character (see rulebook for details).
Themes and Conflicts
Beyond combat and survival tactics, the game focuses heavily on social and moral challenges. Every decision has consequences, and the struggle between staying alive and staying human lies at the heart of the experience.

Game Content
In 2022, the world as we knew it was wiped out by a hostile alien invasion. Using advanced nanite technology, the extraterrestrial invaders not only took control of military systems, but also transformed fallen humans into mindless drones – the so-called “Bots.” Within a short time, human civilization collapsed, and only a few survivors were able to resist the enemy.
But the resistance lives on. A group of fighters managed to escape to Mahlwinkel, where they established a new base: Echo Base. From here, the fight against the occupiers begins. With the successful activation of a long-range radio connection, Echo Base discovered they were not alone—other resistance cells are fighting among the ruins of the world for humanity’s survival. But the enemy never sleeps—and the true challenge is yet to come.
P.R.I.M. by Lost Ideas throws you into the heart of this post-apocalyptic world. Join the resistance, fight for your survival, and become part of a story that evolves with every event.
